AACO’s multi-faceted work is driven by a vision to awaken dormant potential and help the people of Ashanti Akim flourish. This vision is based in the Christian belief that God has created all people and that through focusing on the Bible’s message about God’s kingdom, which includes a call to social action, community change is possible. AACO’s founders have found inspiration in this Bible passage, “But seek first God’s kingdom and God’s righteousness, and all these things [food, shelter, clothing] will be given to you as well” (Matthew 6:33).

From community development projects in all of Ashanti Akim’s 226 towns and villages to equipping the region’s young people for jobs through Jubilee Senior High School, from leadership development training for young and old alike to transforming third world mindsets, AACO aspires to destroy poverty now and generationally, helping the people of Ashanti Akim help themselves where they are.
